Pedal Your Arts: Gears for Guilford

West Guilford is a pleasant little community a few kilometers to the north of the Village of Haliburton. Amongst the white pines and the lovely lakes live a group of artists who have come here to hone their crafts and create. We will visit some of them, in their studios, on this 35 km. bicycle tour. The route is remarkably flat considering we are in the “Highlands”, with most of the travel on pleasant and scenic secondary roads. Ample time will be provided to engage the artists as we make our way around. This is a full but relaxed day punctuated by good company, delightful artisans and outstanding food.

Not so small print. This experience package is rated as a moderate challenge and is suitable for the experienced, practicing cyclist. Road and mountain bikes are both suited to this tour. Helmets are mandatory and eye protection is recommended. Items purchased by participants will be picked up from the artist and transported back to the West Guilford Community Centre for you to take home.
