Restorative Drinks for Liver, Kidney and Blood Health

Sat Jun 22, 2019 - 1:30pm to 4:30pm

Feeling sluggish, can’t seem to get past that weight plateau? Time to give two of your hardest working organs a spa treatment.  We’ll learn that food is medicine and eating herbaceous plants from the wild contributes to good health.  We’ll forage for a couple of hours to identify and gather greens returning to the kitchen to blend up some green Goddess goodness. Workshop to include take home recipes and knowledge for restoration, cleansing and fasting.

Host and Course Leader Carolyn Langdon is the Director of Wild Edibles Haliburton. She leads public forages and private consultations.  She’s been profiled by CBC Radio and The Ottawa Citizen and was an adviser to Naked and Afraid, a Discovery Channel series in which participants survived a three-week ordeal.
