The Magic of Tree Medicine

An opportunity to connect more deeply with trees as allies, friends and teachers. We’ll learn to identify local trees, their edible and medicinal parts and some of the latest research on the intelligence of forests. Refreshments to include edibles incorporating pine pollen and balsam tips.

Host and Course Leader Carolyn Langdon is the Director of Wild Edibles Haliburton. She leads public forages and private consultations.  She’s been profiled by CBC Radio and The Ottawa Citizen and was an adviser to Naked and Afraid, a Discovery Channel series in which participants survived a three-week ordeal.
