Here’s your chance to find out why people fall in love with fly fishing. Newcomers to the “quiet sport” will be taught how to cast, identify different types of flies and hook, play and handle fish on the fly rod – all while enjoying time on a serene Haliburton Lake.
Things to note: Two people maximum, corporate groups can be arranged. Participants must have a valid fishing licence. Polarized glasses and a hat is also advised.

He is an all-round outdoorsman whose love and fascination for fly fishing started some 40 years ago after he bought an old fiberglass fly rod and reel at a neighbourhood garage sale.
