Wild Edibles Identification Hike

This outdoor workshop combined with a 4-hour nature hike takes place on the trails of the Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve with flora ranging from old-growth forest to seasonal food plants. As we walk, we’ll delve into the rich diversity of plant species thriving in their natural forest habitat. Along our journey, we will stop to learn more about the edible species on our path.

Note: You will not be foraging for/taking home wild edibles. This workshop focuses on teaching you how to find and identify wild edible foods and sustainable harvesting practices.
